Brian’s background
Brian has qualifications in Business Studies and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.
Brian spent the first half of his career working in the Public Sector, in front-line HR roles and later as a Policy Advisor to the Chief Executive of a large Local Authority. In the early 90’s, he moved to the Financial Services sector as an Internal Consultant and progressed into operational management roles, culminating in Director level appointments with wide-ranging responsibilities for contact-centre operations, major projects and business planning.

- Working on top-team development assignments with Local Authorities, which focused on improving the effectiveness of the senior member and officer teams.
- Roll-out of a major communications initiative in a very large public sector organisation with a high national profile.
- Delivering core skills development programmes for a global investment management company.
- Supporting performance management systems for a global petrochemical company.

Brian has very substantial experience at Director level, giving him powerful insights into the development of business strategy. It also contributes to his executive coaching capabilities.
