Liz’s background
Liz graduated with an Honours Degree in Psychology from Swansea University, later gaining an MSc in Industrial Psychology from Hull University.
She spent her early career managing clinical drug trails within pharmaceuticals and then in various personnel roles for the NHS and the Civil Service. Liz has worked in consultancy since 1996 and her work has focused on executive coaching, leadership development and individual profiling. Liz is trained in a number of instruments including: Myers Briggs; Thomas Kilmann; StrengthsScope; 16PF and Wave. She is also an NLP practitioner.
Liz’s highlights
- Delivering leadership development programmes in Europe over three years to senior managers within private banking, including facilitating large group events to help staff live the values.
- Running development centres for senior managers progressing to Director level in professional services.
- Designing and delivering a leadership development programme within the construction industry and cascading this down from Director to middle management level, over two years.
- Developing leadership standards and competency frameworks for legal and financial services firms.
- Coaching clients at a re-insurance company, enabling individuals to embed the post-merger company values into daily working life.
- Facilitating 360° feedback workshops for senior managers within the NHS.
- Rolling out a six month organisation development programme within a Foundation Trust.
