Aligning a global car manufacturer and its franchise networks

Our work with this global car manufacturer has spanned Europe and North America. Our relationship dates back to 1997, when we helped our client in the UK with the definition and development of healthy business partnerships between the brand and retail partners.  Support was practical and identified key training and development needs that would enhance the ongoing effectiveness of business relationships.

Since that time, training and development projects have included:

  • Developing and delivering a leadership development programme for the UK and North America to deliver a stretching programme high on practicality and high on developing the right behaviours to be effective.
  • Developing the capability of the internal HR delivery teams (USA) to meet the exacting standards and future aspirations of the brand (e.g. developing a consulting approach for internal HR partners to enable them to get closer to the business).
  • Delivering assessment centres designed to benchmark the quality of heads of business in the franchise network.
  • Leading a strategic review of activities and needs to redefine the leadership development offer for 2006 - 2009 in the UK.  Developing the core offer for future leadership requirements.
