Achieving my CIPD Diploma in Human Resource Management and Personnel Administration while supporting a start-up hedge fund through its formative growth phase – a moment that confirmed my interest in people, performance and organisational effectiveness.

Training and mentoring an Administrative Assistant to progress confidently into a Project Manager role – and watching them step into that role with pride and assurance.

Why I do this work

I care about doing things properly, and about the people involved in making that happen. Projects aren’t just timelines and budgets; they are relationships, trust and shared accountability. I’m naturally empathetic and enjoy supporting colleagues and keeping things moving in the right direction.

I love bringing order to complexity. Creating systems, refining processes and making sure finances are clear and controlled. Seeing a project move from first conversation to final delivery – knowing the details have been thought through and the team has been supported along the way – is motivating.
